Lesson FAQ

What students ask before they sign up.

I've never baked before. Is that OK?
Yes, the beginner classes are built for people who haven't baked. Your classmates will be at a similar level. We work slowly and we don't skip steps.
How many people are in a class?
Maximum six students per session. Most run with three or four. You'll get individual attention without being the only person there.
How much does a lesson cost?
Lesson pricing is shared when you enquire, because small-group and private sessions are quoted by format. Ingredients, tools, and the cake you take home are included.
When do you run lessons?
Saturdays mornings most weeks, occasional weekday evenings. Specific dates are confirmed when you enquire, we run sessions when there are enough students booked.
Can I book a private lesson for a birthday or hen party?
Yes. Tell us how many people, what you'd like to make, and roughly when. We tailor the session and quote per person. Hen parties and mother-and-daughter sessions are some of our favourite bookings.
Do you teach online?
Not currently, the classes are hands-on, in studio. We do publish recipes on the recipes page if you'd rather start at home.
Where is the studio?
Harare. Full address shared when your lesson is booked, with parking instructions.
