Quotes

Every order starts with a written quote. The quote is valid for 14 days. If the order date moves outside that window, we may need to re-quote, especially around peak wedding weekends.

Deposit and confirmation

Anytime cake orders are confirmed by full payment. Wedding cake and Roora Day cake orders are confirmed by a 50 percent deposit. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the wedding date or on delivery for Roora Day cakes.

Payment

We quote in USD. We accept USD cash, EcoCash, ZiG (at the day's USD rate by mutual agreement), and bank transfer. Corporate orders may be invoiced; standard terms are 14 days net unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not currently accept card payments.

Cancellation

Anytime cake orders:

• More than 48 hours before delivery: full refund.
• Within 48 hours of delivery: 50 percent refund.
• Within 24 hours of delivery: no refund (the cake is already in production).

Wedding and Roora Day cake deposits are non refundable but transferrable to a new date subject to calendar availability.

Changes after confirmation

Guest count or flavour changes more than four weeks before a wedding date are handled at the cost difference. Closer to the date we will do our best to accommodate, with adjustments quoted in writing.

Delivery and setup

Wedding cake quotes within Harare include delivery and on site setup. Anytime cake delivery is charged by Harare zone. Outside Harare delivery is quoted per arrangement and depends on the cake's suitability for travel. Once a cake has been signed for at the delivery point, responsibility passes to the receiving party.

Storage on the day

Buttercream and fresh cream cakes need to be kept in shade and out of direct heat. We will explain storage and serving to you or your coordinator when we deliver. The studio is not responsible for damage caused by improper storage after delivery.

Allergens

All cakes are made in a working studio that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and sesame. Eggless and gluten conscious options are available with notice but we are not a sealed allergen free facility. If a guest has a severe allergy, please tell us before you order so we can be straightforward about cross contact risk.

Photography

We may photograph cakes in studio and on delivery for our portfolio. If you would prefer that we do not share images of your cake, tell us at quote stage and we will note it on the order.

Liability

The studio's liability in the unlikely event of a problem is limited to the value of the cake order. We do not cover venue costs, event re-arrangement, or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes will be settled in Harare in good faith first; through the courts only as a last resort.
