Full price guide

Wedding cakes are quoted after consultation because the design moves the price more than the size does. The figures below are honest starting points, they're what a simple, on-style version of each tier count costs at the studio today, including delivery and setup in Harare.

What couples ask before they book.

How far in advance should I book a wedding cake?
Three to nine months is typical, with peak Harare wedding weekends (April-June and September-December) booking out six months ahead. If your date is sooner, message us, we keep a small number of slots open for shorter lead times each season.
How much does a wedding cake cost?
Two-tier starts from $200, three-tier from $300, four-tier from $400. Delivery and setup in Harare are included. The final figure depends on the design (sugar flowers, painted finishes, structural complexity), the flavours, and the guest count. We send a written quote after the consultation so you can plan around the actual number.
How does the tasting work?
After the consultation we book a tasting at the studio. You choose three flavours from your shortlist; we bake fresh samples; you and your partner come in (typically a Saturday morning) and taste them with us. There's no charge for the tasting and no pressure to decide on the day.
Can you match my wedding colours?
Yes. Bring a swatch, a Pinterest board, a fabric sample, or a photo of the venue décor. We match buttercream, fondant, and sugar work to it. Painted finishes and metallic details are handled in studio so we control the colour up to the moment of delivery.
What's included in delivery and setup?
For Harare weddings, delivery and on-site setup are included in the wedding cake price. We arrive 90-120 minutes before the cake is needed, stack and finish on your table, photograph the finished cake for our records, and check in with your planner or coordinator before we leave. Outside Harare we quote per arrangement.
Do you make Roora Day cakes?

Can you cater for dietary restrictions?
Eggless and gluten-conscious tiers are available, flag it on the enquiry. Allergens are handled in a working studio (we are not a sealed allergen-free facility), so we'll be straightforward about cross-contact risk before you commit.
What happens if something changes, guest count, date, weather?
Guest count adjustments up to four weeks before the wedding are handled at cost difference only. Date changes are handled case-by-case (we will move the deposit to a new date wherever the calendar allows). For very hot weather, we adjust frosting choice (Swiss meringue holds; American buttercream doesn't) and arrange refrigeration at the venue if needed.
