Decoration extras & delivery.
Base prices above cover the cake itself in the chosen icing and a standard finish. The following are quoted on top of the base price after you describe what you want:
- Sugar flowers and toppers, hand-made peonies, roses, proteas, lavender, sugar number toppers.
- Edible-print work, printed photos, logos, character toppers, custom illustrations.
- Painted finishes, palette-knife brushstrokes, gold-leaf flecks, hand-painted scenes.
- Colour-matched buttercream / fondant, proofed against your swatch before baking.
- Delivery, flat fee by Harare zone; outside-Harare quoted per arrangement.
- Dummy tiers, foam tiers finished to look real, used for height in wedding photos.

How orders work.
- Half deposit secures your order. 50% on confirmation, balance on or before delivery.
- Two days' notice minimum for most cakes. Sculpted, multi-tier, edible-print, and dietary cakes need more.
- Delivery is available at an extra fee, flat-rate by Harare zone. Outside Harare is quoted per arrangement.
- Pricing is in USD. Local-currency equivalent on the day of payment.
- Extra toppings are charged accordingly. We send a written quote so the final figure is clear before you commit.
Pricing FAQ
Common questions about prices.
Why is fruit cake more expensive?
Rich fruit cake uses a much higher ratio of dried fruit, glacé cherries, and brandy than a standard sponge. Those ingredients cost more, and the cake takes longer to bake and mature. The price reflects what's actually in it.
Why is plastic icing the same price for small and medium?
Plastic-icing covering has a minimum labour cost regardless of size, rolling, draping, smoothing, and finishing the seams. So the small and medium come out at the same starting figure. The jump appears at large and xtra large where the surface area genuinely doubles.
What does "from" mean exactly?
"From" is the starting price for that cake in its standard, on-style version, in the icing and size shown. Decoration extras (sugar flowers, edible-print, painted finishes), unusual colour-matching, and structural work are quoted on top once we know what you need.
How far ahead do I need to order?
Two days minimum for a standard single-tier. One week for printed work or sculpted designs. Three to nine months for wedding cakes with consultation and tasting. Last-minute requests sometimes work, message us and we will be honest about what's possible.
How much is delivery in Harare?
Delivery is a flat fee by Harare zone, charged on top of the cake price. Outside Harare we quote per arrangement based on the route. See delivery zones →
Do you take payment in ZIG or local currency?
Yes. Pricing on the site is in USD because that is the most stable reference. We accept ZIG / local-currency at the prevailing rate on the day of payment.
