An eggless cake is still a cake. Bake it like one.
Most eggless cakes go wrong in the same way: they end up dry, dense, or weirdly chewy because the recipe was never adjusted properly for the missing egg. We use a vinegar-and-baking-soda lift, slightly more fat, and a careful mix to keep the crumb tender. The result tastes like a real cake, because it is one.
We bake eggless for vegetarians, for people with egg allergies, for kids whose pediatrician has flagged egg, and for families whose religious or cultural diet skips eggs. Same studio, same hands, same standards as every other cake we make.

Honest note: rich fruit cake and a few mousse fillings need eggs to set properly. We will tell you upfront which flavours don't have a good eggless version, rather than try to make one that disappoints.

Eggless cake FAQ
Common questions.
What's the difference between eggless and vegan?
Eggless means the cake is baked without eggs. Our standard eggless cakes still use butter, milk, and dairy cream cheese in the frosting, so they suit vegetarians but not vegans. Fully vegan versions of vanilla and chocolate (no dairy either) are available on request with two days' notice.
How does an eggless cake hold up structurally?
Properly. We use a vinegar-and-baking-soda lift that gives the cake the rise it needs without eggs. The crumb is soft, the slice is clean, and the cake holds frosting the same way a regular sponge does. Eggless also stacks for a tier cake.
How much notice for an eggless wedding cake?
Same lead time as any wedding cake, three to nine months for the consultation and tasting. The eggless recipe just needs a different mix and timing, so mention it in your enquiry from day one and we plan the kitchen schedule around it.
Can I have eggless cupcakes for a party?
Yes. Eggless cupcakes are $20 per dozen, minimum 24 for delivery. They box and travel the same way the standard cupcakes do.
Will my guests notice it's eggless?
Honestly, no. Most of our eggless customers tell us their guests didn't realise. The flavour and texture are real-cake equivalents.
Can you guarantee no egg cross-contact?
We bake eggless cakes in the same studio that bakes standard cakes. We use clean, dedicated bowls, beaters, and surfaces for eggless work, and bake on a different day where possible. For severe egg allergies (anaphylaxis level), please flag it explicitly in your enquiry so we can confirm the protocol with you before you commit.
