A Mother's Day cake in Harare costs $40 to $85 depending on size, in any of the thirteen signature flavours.

Pricing depends on the size and the finish you want on the outside. The headline numbers below are the buttercream finish, which is what most Mother's Day orders go out as. Fresh cream sits a little lower. A fondant or plastic icing finish is a little higher because the work involved is heavier.

If you would rather skip the round cake and send something the whole family can pass around, cupcakes are $20 per dozen with a minimum of two dozen.

Sugar-free cakes are quoted per cake once Beverley knows the flavour, the size, and the sweetener you want her to use. Three days' notice for a single-tier. Mothers with diabetes or anyone watching sugar will get a cake that actually tastes like cake, not a token gesture.

Mother's Day cake delivery in Harare

Pickup at the Madokero studio (14305 Madokero Estates, Harare) is free. If you would rather collect on the Saturday and bring the cake to Mum yourself, Beverley will give you storage instructions on the day.

Harare delivery is a flat fee by zone. The fee is confirmed when you place the order, once Beverley knows the suburb. Outside Harare (Bulawayo, Mutare, Victoria Falls, Masvingo and elsewhere) is quoted per arrangement based on the cake type and refrigeration needs en route.

Sunday delivery for Mother's Day is handled on a slot basis. Send the address on WhatsApp early in the week and Beverley will confirm whether she can deliver on the Sunday itself, or whether collection on the Saturday works better for your area.

How to order a Mother's Day cake

1. WhatsApp the studio with the size, the flavour, the delivery date, and the suburb.
2. Beverley confirms the price, the delivery fee, and the lead time the same day in writing.
3. Full payment on confirmation locks the slot for an anytime cake. Wedding and Roora Day cakes work on a 50 percent deposit instead, with the balance before delivery.

The cancellation policy for anytime cakes is straightforward. More than 48 hours before delivery is a full refund. Inside 48 hours is a 50 percent refund. Inside 24 hours there is no refund, because by then the cake is already in production.
